William Bohn is a diversified industrial engineer and design consultant with a varied background, which includes designing cars, planes, trains, and boats. After graduating from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, he began his career designing Airstream motor homes.
Bill continued his work in recreation, entertainment and transportation when he became an Imagineer for Disney. His Disney work included projects such as Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Tokyo Disney Seas, Euro Disneyland (Paris) and many of Disneyland’s iconic attractions such as Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Disney’s California Soaring.
Bill’s career also includes work on private corporate aircraft through the Jet Center, a locomotive for the Chicago Metro Rail system, and a consultant for the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park. Bill has two US Patents for simulators, published articles, and other honors and distinctions for his creative talents.
Bill continues to work with selected design consultant clients and also teaches part time at Sierra Nevada College. Bill and his wife, Eileen, are full-time residents of Incline Village, Nevada and active participants in the community.
